Content planner

A calendar view for mapping posts to keyphrases and topics before you start writing.

3 min read

The content planner is a calendar for planning what to write, not just when to publish. Each planned entry can carry a target keyphrase and topic notes, so by the time you sit down to draft, the SEO groundwork is already decided.

Typical workflow

  1. 1

    Plan a topic cluster

Add a handful of planned posts around one theme, each with its own working keyphrase.

  2. 2

    Check for overlap

Compare planned keyphrases against related keyphrases and existing published posts so you're not competing with yourself.

  3. 3

    Draft against the plan

Turn a planned entry into a real post; the keyphrase and notes carry over so the editor checklist starts pre-filled.

Note

The planner is scheduling metadata, not a publishing pipeline — it doesn't auto-publish anything on your behalf.
