Headline analyzer

Scores your title's clarity, length, and pull before you publish — separate from its SEO checklist score.

A strong SEO title still has to make someone click. The headline analyzer scores your post title on factors that affect click-through rather than search relevance: length, clarity, use of numbers or power words, and sentence type (question, how-to, list).

What it looks at

  • Overall length, so the title doesn't get cut off in search results or social shares
  • Balance of common, uncommon, and emotional words
  • Presence of numbers, brackets, or power words known to lift click-through
  • Sentence type — how-to, list, question, or statement — flagged so you know what pattern you're using

Use it as a second pass after your title already satisfies the on-page SEO checklist — the two scores measure different things and both matter.
