Frontend inspector

A live, on-page panel that shows exactly what title, meta, canonical, and schema tags rendered for visitors and crawlers.

3 min read

The frontend inspector shows the SEO tags that actually rendered on a live page — title, meta description, canonical URL, robots directives, Open Graph tags, and the schema graph — rather than what you configured in the editor. This catches cases where a theme, caching layer, or another plugin overrides Seofyme's output.

What it's for

  • Confirming a caching layer isn't serving a stale title or meta description
  • Spotting theme templates that output their own conflicting meta tags
  • Verifying schema actually reached the page instead of only checking the editor settings

Note

If the frontend inspector shows different output than the editor panel, look for another SEO or caching plugin overriding Seofyme's tags before filing a bug — see Troubleshooting.
