Link Assistant looks at your whole site at once and surfaces linking opportunities you'd never spot post-by-post: pages with too few internal links pointing at them, and posts that mention a topic without linking to the page that covers it in depth.
What it surfaces
- Pages with the fewest internal links pointing to them (orphan-risk candidates)
- Posts that mention a keyphrase matching another page's focus keyphrase, without a link to it
- A prioritized queue of suggested links you can act on one at a time
Tip
Run Link Assistant after a batch of new posts — it's most useful once you have enough content for real linking patterns to emerge. Combine it with a workout to work the queue systematically.
