On-page SEO analysis

Live focus-keyphrase, meta, heading, and readability checks in the WordPress editor — free, and updated as you type.

5 min read

The Seofyme panel sits beside the WordPress block editor and scores your draft as you write: title, meta description, headings, keyphrase placement, and readability all stay visible without leaving the editor or unlocking anything paid.

What it checks

  • Focus keyphrase in the title, URL, first paragraph, and at least one heading
  • Word-form variants of your keyphrase (plurals, verb forms) counted toward coverage, so natural writing still scores well
  • Meta description length against the SERP-safe character range
  • Heading structure (a single H1, logical H2/H3 nesting)
  • Internal and external link presence
  • Image alt text coverage
  • Readability (sentence length, passive voice, transition words)

How to use it

  1. 1

    Set a focus keyphrase

Open any post or page and enter the phrase you want that piece of content to rank for.

  2. 2

    Tune the title and meta

Use the SERP preview and the live character counter to write a snippet that won't be truncated in Google.

  3. 3

    Work the checklist

Fix headings, links, and readability warnings one at a time until the checklist is green.

  4. 4

Set canonical and robots per post

Override the canonical URL or index/follow behavior for that specific post if needed, from the same panel.

Related phrases matter too — see Related keyphrases for widening topical coverage without stuffing your exact match phrase.

Does the score affect my actual Google ranking?
No score guarantees rankings. The checklist reflects on-page best practices Seofyme can verify automatically — it doesn't account for backlinks, site authority, or competition.
Is this the same on Shopify?
Yes, the Shopify app runs the same on-page checklist against product and page descriptions.
