IndexNow
Pings IndexNow-participating search engines the moment you publish or update content, instead of waiting for a crawl.

IndexNow is a protocol supported by Bing and other participating search engines that lets a site push a URL the instant it changes, rather than waiting for that engine's own crawler to notice.
What triggers a ping
- Publishing a new post or page
- Updating an existing post or page's content
- Unpublishing or deleting content, so it can be dropped from the index faster
IndexNow complements XML sitemaps — sitemaps describe your whole site for periodic crawling, while IndexNow is a push notification for a single URL that just changed.
Note
IndexNow support varies by search engine; it does not include Google, which uses its own crawl scheduling and Search Console tooling instead.
