Seofyme SEO is a free, GPLv3-licensed WordPress plugin. The entire local toolkit — on-page checks, sitemaps, schema, redirects, internal linking, and the specialized Local/Video/News/Author modules — is included with no upsell wall. Hosted AI drafting and hosted audits are the only parts that require Seofyme Cloud.

Install

Download the zip
Install from wordpress.org/plugins/seofyme-seo, or get the latest zip from the WordPress page.

Upload in WordPress
Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then activate Seofyme SEO.

Flush permalinks
Settings → Permalinks → Save Changes, once, so sitemap and redirect routes register correctly.

Only install official builds
Only install Seofyme SEO from this site or wordpress.org/plugins/seofyme-seo. Nulled or “premium cracked” copies distributed elsewhere often ship malware.
Updates and the changelog
Release notes are pulled live from GitHub Releases and shown on the WordPress page. WordPress's built-in updater will offer new versions once the plugin is installed, the same as any other plugin.
- Do I need an account to use the plugin?
- No. The plugin works fully standalone. An account is only needed if you want Seofyme Cloud's hosted AI drafting or hosted audits.
- Does the plugin conflict with Yoast or Rank Math?
- Running two full SEO plugins at once will duplicate sitemaps, schema, and meta box output and is not supported. Deactivate the other SEO plugin before activating Seofyme.
